Election FAQ's

When is the last day to put a ballot in the mail?

Your mail ballot must be postmarked by 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday; November 3. All mail ballots must be received by the Election Department no later than 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday; November 10.

If I lose my mail ballot and cannot surrender the physical ballot, but I show up to vote in-person, what happens?

They will be issued a regular ballot (the will be able to vote in-person at that site), so long as they sign an affidavit saying that they have not sent in their mail ballot.

I lost my mail ballot, can I still vote early?

Yes. You will be issued a regular ballot and must sign an affidavit saying that you will not send in your mail ballot.

Do I have to go inside to drop off my ballot?

There will be drop off ballots located inside vote centers. There will also be tents.

Yes, you will have to go inside to drop off your ballot. There will not be curbside voting nor will there be an election worker posted outside to collect your ballot from your vehicle.
